PAOLI — The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is accepting applications for a merit deputy following a recent retirement.
The position offers a $5,000 lateral bonus, a $52,132 starting salary, health, dental and vision insurance, 15 paid holidays per year, a take-home car with off-duty use in Orange County, authorization for outer carriers, beards and tattoos, and participation in the Indiana Sheriff pension.
