BEDFORD – The Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County is now hiring Adult Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) for after-school programs throughout the county. Positions are available at Shawswick Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, and Dollens Elementary.
YDPs play a vital role in supporting after-school programming through positive and engaging interactions with youth. Staff work alongside other team members, volunteers, and families to create a safe and educational environment.
The position runs Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and offers flexible scheduling, professional development, and opportunities for growth. Pay ranges from $15 to $18 per hour.
Staff members will lead and supervise hands-on activities including gym time, arts and crafts, STEM projects, cooking club, homework help, computer literacy, and more—all while fostering a fun, encouraging atmosphere that helps kids learn and grow.
