PAOLI – The Orange County Historical Society (OCHS) invites the community to step back in time with “An Autumn Homecoming,” a free event at the historic Thomas Elwood Lindley House in Paoli on Saturday, October 25th.

The homecoming event will run from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and feature a variety of heritage-themed activities to celebrate the region’s rich history. Guests can look forward to Civil War-era displays that offer a glimpse into the turbulent years of the mid-19th century.
Attendees can also take guided tours of the house to learn about its history and see the restoration work. The event will also feature musical entertainment, adding a festive atmosphere to the historical setting.
While the event is FREE to the public, the OCHS will be accepting donations to support the ongoing preservation and upkeep of the historic farm home.
The Lindley House has been partially restored to reflect the period between 1850 and 1869, when it was actively used as a farm home. Its historical significance was formally recognized in 1985 when it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Lindley House is conveniently located just off Highway 150 West on Willow Creek Road in Paoli.
