Robert K. Crane, 79, formerly of Pinhook, passed away on October 8, 2025, at Meadow Lakes of Mooresville.
Born September 13, 1946, in Bedford, Indiana, he was the son of Audrey and Hazel (Hughes) Crane. He married Lynn Spencer on July 10, 1964. He worked as a construction supervisor at Duke Energy for 42 years and attended Grace United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son Bob Crane (Moriah); son-in-law Spencer Aggus; five grandchildren, Nichol Huskey (Logan), Audrey Stevens (Jeremiah), Derek Crane (Emma), Drew Aggus (Rylee), and Luke Aggus; two sisters Euretta Griggs, and Cathy Jenner (Phil); two great-grandchildren who he loved with his whole heart, Adeline and Jericho Stevens; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter Tammy Aggus, his parents, siblings Bill and John Crane, Alta Fields, and Becky Pate.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 14th, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary, with Pastors Phil Stroud and Judi Early officiating. Burial will follow at Talbot Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Monday, October 13th, and from 10:00 am to the time of the service on Tuesday.
