BEDFORD — WBIW is giving listeners a chance to attend one of the season’s most anticipated community events — the Lawrence County Community Foundation’s Fall Gathering. The event takes place Thursday, Oct. 9, at the Spring Mill Inn’s Lakeview Room, with doors opening at 5 p.m. and dinner served at 6.
The Fall Gathering celebrates the Foundation’s ongoing work to strengthen local nonprofits, provide scholarships, and enhance the quality of life across Lawrence County. The evening typically includes dinner, fellowship, and highlights of the Foundation’s accomplishments and community impact.
Listeners can enter to win tickets by sending a message to WBIW’s Facebook Messenger with the words “Fall Gathering,” along with their first and last name and phone number. Entries must be received by Monday, Oct. 6, ahead of the random drawing on Tuesday, Oct. 7. Winners will be contacted through WBIW’s Facebook Messenger following the drawing.
The tickets are physical and must be picked up at the WBIW studios before the event. The station is located at 424 Heltonville Road in Bedford.
