ORLEANS— The “Orleans Fall Town-Wide Clean Sweep Week” is currently in effect, running through this Saturday, October 11th. Residents are strongly encouraged to participate in the community-wide effort to clear out unwanted clutter in preparation for the upcoming fall and winter months.
Town crews will be circulating through Orleans to collect large items for disposal. Residents must place these items at the curb for collection.
Key Pickup Information
- Deadline: All items for pickup must be placed outside by noon on Thursday, October 9th.
- Grapple Truck Safety: Residents are specifically asked to avoid placing large items near trees or overhead lines to allow for easier and safer access by the grapple truck.
Town Dumpster Available
In addition to curbside pickup, a large dumpster has been placed at the Orleans Town Garage and will be available for resident use throughout the week. Residents are welcome to bring any unwanted or junk-type items for disposal in the dumpster.
