BLOOMINGTON — Bloomington Fire Department crews were called to battle a structure fire at a vacant commercial building on 700 West Gourley Pike early Friday morning.
Firefighters received the call for the Structure 2 fire at 7:37 a.m.
The location is the former site of the Greene & Harrell/Deremiah-Frye Funeral Homes.
The responding crews successfully contained the fire. Authorities reported that no injuries occurred as a result of the fire, and the cause of the blaze remains unknown pending investigation.
