Rock legends Kansas and Jefferson Starship to take the stage Oct. 10 for fundraising concert, Sean Duncan Show on WQRK giving away tickets daily

INDIANAPOLIS — Two legendary classic rock bands, Kansas and Jefferson Starship, will take the stage at Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park for the annual Frontline Benefit Concert, the signature fundraising event of the Indy Public Safety Foundation. Listeners of the Sean Duncan Show on Southern Indiana’s Classic Hits 105.5 WQRK will have a chance to win a pair of tickets every weekday until the concert! Tune into the show every morning for details on how to score tickets to see these legendary bands!

The evening begins with the Tactical Tail-Gate, an interactive and family-friendly event offering behind-the-scenes access to first responders and their tools. Organizers say it’s a unique opportunity for the public to meet the men and women protecting Indianapolis, while also raising awareness of critical issues such as gun violence and domestic violence.

The concert is set for 7:30 p.m., featuring performances from both Kansas and Jefferson Starship. Kansas, known for enduring hits like “Carry On Wayward Son” and “Dust in the Wind,” has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide since forming in the 1970s. Jefferson Starship, which emerged from the legendary Jefferson Airplane, has left its mark with chart-topping singles such as “Jane,” “Miracles,” and “Find Your Way Back.” Both bands have been staples of American rock for decades, bringing a blend of anthems and timeless performances to generations of fans.

Frontline serves as a major fundraiser to support the needs of Indianapolis’ first responders and community safety initiatives. Proceeds benefit programs addressing violence prevention and critical services for those impacted by crime.

Not only will fans have a chance to score tickets by tuning into the Sean Duncan Show on Classic Hits 105.5 WQRK, but tickets and sponsorship information are also available at www.indypsf.org/frontline.

Concertgoers should note the venue’s clear bag policy, which limits bags to clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC totes no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″ or small clutches measuring 6″ x 9″. Low-profile chairs with seats no higher than nine inches from the ground are permitted.
