INDIANA – Waterfowl season is officially here, and the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is reminding Indiana hunters to prepare for one of the state’s most popular and social outdoor activities. From early morning blinds to celebrating successful hunts, hunters must ensure that all required documentation is secured before heading out.

The DNR has implemented a new licensing system, known as the Activity Hub, and hunters are strongly encouraged to set up their accounts now to avoid any last-minute issues. This system is essential for purchasing licenses, stamps, and completing the necessary Harvest Information Program (HIP) registration.
How to Access the New Activity Hub
Hunters can prepare for the season by following these steps to access and utilize the new system:
- Go to GoOutdoorsIN.com and click the Login button.
- You will be directed to Access Indiana, where you can log in or create an account.
- Once logged in, you will return to the Hub to verify personal information, purchase required hunting licenses and stamps, and apply for reserved hunts.
Setting up your account now allows time to troubleshoot, seek assistance, or visit a licensed retailer if needed.
Essential Resources for Hunters
Hunters must consult the Indiana Hunting and Trapping Guide for a complete overview of the season. The guide contains:
- Full list of waterfowl hunting dates and regulations.
- An outline of which stamps are needed for each age group.
For questions or assistance with the new system, contact the DNR at 317-232-4200 or 877-463-6367, or email INHuntFish@dnr.IN.gov.
