BLOOMINGTON – First Financial Bank has announced it will host a food drive throughout October to support local families in need. The bank will be collecting canned and nonperishable boxed food from October 6 through October 31.
Donation bins will be set up at the bank’s two financial centers in Bloomington, located at 536 North College Avenue and 3205 East Third Street.

Roddell McCullough, First Financial’s Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer, stated, “Helping our neighbors is what we’re all about as we strive to create opportunities for our clients and communities to thrive.”
This marks the fourth consecutive year the bank has organized a food drive. Last year, First Financial and community members collected more than 5,700 food items across Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois. Since the initiative began, more than 19,000 food items have been collected.
After the drive concludes, bank associates will deliver the collected items to local partner organizations for distribution within the community.
The food drive is part of First Financial Bank’s broader community commitment. The bank recently received its second consecutive “Outstanding” rating from the Federal Reserve Board for its performance under the Community Reinvestment Act. The bank is currently in the second year of a $2.4 billion, five-year Community Benefits Agreement with the National Community Reinvestment Coalition and its partners.
