NASHVILLE, TN – In recognition of Veterans’ Day on November 11, emergency preparedness company 4Patriots will give away its 72-Hour Survival Food Kit to U.S. veterans and active military members.

The initiative comes weeks after a national survey revealed that most Americans are unprepared for emergencies.
The free giveaway is part of 4Patriots’ ongoing support for military personnel. The company’s co-founder, Erin Baler, stated that past and present military members make up nearly 30% of their customer base.
A Survey of Unpreparedness
A recent national survey commissioned by 4Patriots confirmed that while nine in ten Americans believe emergency preparedness is crucial, less than half (46%) have an emergency plan in place.
- The survey also found that Gen Zers and Millennials (55%) are more likely to have an emergency plan than Baby Boomers (39%).
- Despite 86% of respondents believing it’s vital to have a backup power supply, only 26% own a backup generator.
