MITCHELL — A new Little Miss Persimmon Festival queen and her court were announced Monday night as the festival continued its week of traditions on the main stage in downtown Mitchell.
Families and friends gathered in large numbers to cheer on the participants, making the coronation one of the festival’s most memorable moments for the youngest age group in competition.
The 2025 Little Miss Persimmon Festival Queen and Court are:
- Pailynn Ricketts – Little Miss Queen
- Jincy Doub – Miss Congeniality
- Charlotte Isom – Princess
- Jersey Guthrie – Princess
- Brynlee Thompkins – Princess
- Ella Burnette – Princess
- Spencer Driver – Princess
- Marlee Cooper – Princess
- Kylee Roberts – Princess
The Little Miss Queen and her court will now take part in festival activities, riding in parades and making appearances throughout the week as ambassadors of the celebration.
The Little Miss contest is one of several pageants held during the Persimmon Festival, which also features Mini Miss, Junior Miss, and Queen competitions. Together, the pageants spotlight area children and teens while honoring the long-running traditions of Mitchell’s signature festival.
