BEDFORD — Thornton Park Pavilion was buzzing with engines, music, and friendly competition on Saturday as the Bedford Parks Department and WQRK hosted the Cruise Into Fall Car, Truck, and Bike Show.

A wide variety of vehicles lined the park grounds, from gleaming classics to modern muscle cars. Organizers noted that Jeeps have become an increasingly popular entry at the event, adding to the growing mix.

Sean Duncan and the WQRK crew kept the atmosphere lively with music throughout the day, while food trucks Brown Bag BBQ and Pili’s Party Taco served up meals to hungry visitors.

The event also featured the return of the cornhole tournament, where competitors squared off for cash prizes. Taking the top spot and a $500 award were Connor and Greg Garrison, competing as “The Garrisons.” Second place and $100 went to Dylan Staggs and Mike Farr of “The Hole Busters,” while Blaine Johnson and Dylan Ferry, competing as “The Drunks,” finished third and earned $50.

With cars polished, cornhole bags flying, and music filling the air, the show once again delivered on its reputation as an early fall tradition for the Bedford community.
