WASHINGTON – The Washington Farmers Market will host a special Conservation Resource Fair next Saturday, September 27, at The Commons Event Pavilion from 8 a.m. to noon. This free, family-friendly event, organized by the Daviess-Martin CISMA, aims to educate the public about local conservation efforts.

Visitors can explore a variety of conservation booths covering topics such as forestry, wildlife, and soil health. The event will also feature live fish on display from the Glendale Fish Hatchery, opportunities to make nature-themed crafts, and door prizes, including a Stihl battery-operated pruning saw.
WAMW will be broadcasting live from the event from 8–10 a.m.
Families are encouraged to attend the fair to learn more about conservation while enjoying the regular offerings of the Farmers Market.
