INDIANA – The Office of Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith, in partnership with AARP Indiana and the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration, presented the 2025 Golden Hoosier Awards to 12 Indiana residents in recognition of their outstanding service to their communities yesterday.

“This award is about honoring Hoosiers who have given their time, talents, and hearts to others,” Lieutenant Governor Beckwith said. “This ceremony was uplifting, and it should serve as a reminder that selflessness still exists. Each recipient has made a lasting impact on their community, and it was a privilege to recognize their contributions to our state.”
The Golden Hoosier Award is the highest honor given by the state of Indiana to recognize senior citizens for their years of service and commitment to their neighborhoods, towns, and cities.

The Golden Hoosier Award was established in 2008 to acknowledge the long-term dedication of Hoosiers who give selflessly to improve the lives of others.
