ORLEANS — The Orleans Public Library will host the Family Dinner Project this evening, Tuesday, August 26, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The free program invites families to gather at the library, 174 N. Maple St., to share a healthy crockpot meal while learning about the benefits of family dinners. Organizers say meals around the table can strengthen communication, boost brainpower and support overall well-being.

Families of all sizes are welcome. Registration is encouraged by calling 812-723-7107 or emailing vportill@purdue.edu.
Organizers said tonight’s event is designed to provide both a nourishing meal and conversation about building stronger family connections.
