BROWNSTOWN— Jackson County will host a kick-off event on Tuesday, August 26, from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. as it works to become a “dementia-friendly” community.

The event is scheduled in Pewter Hall and Event Center in Brownstown.
The event will feature resources for the community and presentations from the Alzheimer’s Association and Dementia Friendly Indiana.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Natali Edmonds, founder of Dementia Careblazers.
