INDIANA – The Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) has announced its 2028 program slogan and its 2029 program theme.

The 2028 slogan will be “Libraries are Legendary.” The previously announced 2028 theme will be mythical creatures. The 2029 theme will be nature, and the slogan will be voted on next year.

“These were both very highly rated choices by Indiana public library staff when I surveyed them. Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts. Indiana alone had almost 200 survey responses,” said Beth Yates, children’s consultant at the Indiana State Library and membership chair with CSLP.

CSLP is a nonprofit, charitable organization that supports literacy, education, and science through summer reading events in public libraries across the U.S. CSLP works to develop interest in reading and library use. This includes development and implementation of summer reading programs used nationwide, public service announcements, and other activities which promote reading and library use.
A volunteer callout will begin in early September for those interested in getting involved in CSLP.
