TERRE HAUTE — The Vigo County Public Library will celebrate basketball legend Larry Bird with a special program on Saturday, August 23.
Author Randy Mills will discuss his book, “As If by Magic: The Story of Larry Bird’s Indiana High School Basketball Days,” sharing stories of Bird’s journey from French Lick to becoming a top scorer.
The event will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. in Meeting Rooms A, B, and C at the library’s Main Branch. The program is free and open to the public.
