The Bedford Planning Commission meets Aug. 12 at the City Concourse

BEDFORD- The Bedford Planning Commission will conduct a regular meeting on August 12 at the City Concourse, 1402 H Street, at 4:00 p.m.

Call to Order

Approval of Minutes for July 8, 2025

Old Business:

  1. Public Hearing for William A. Poling Trust, Glen Meadows Lake Minor
    Subdivision. They are requesting to divide parcel 47-06-18-200-003.000-
    010 into two parcels. Lot 1 will be 15.5 acres, and Lot 2 will be 25 acres.
    The Meadowlake Community, ultimately the HOA, will retain the Lake (Lot
    1) and the drainage way, as it serves the entire community for stormwater
    control. Corey Allen to speak.

New Business:

  1. Preliminary Hearing for AJ Nelson Properties requesting a Special Exception
    for permitted use, 25th St and Washington Ave, Brightwood Addition Lots 15-
  2. Zoned B-2 and requesting the Special Exception to build Multi-Family
    housing. Initial meeting with the Planning Commission to allow the Zoning
    Board to conduct a Public Hearing.

Discussion:

  1. Updates on construction projects that have previously been
    approved by the commission.
  2. At the September meeting, there will be a public hearing on a Resolution to
    change the permitted uses in the Professional-Residential (PR) zones
