A Celebration of Life gathering for Robert “Mark” Kindred, known as Lynyrd Skynyrd by his friends, will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, starting at 4:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall of the Restoration Church of the Nazarene, 504 19th Street, Bedford, IN. Friends and family are invited to this time of fellowship and remembrance with his son Aaron, his sister Melinda Scott, and their families.
Mark passed away on July 22, 2025, at Majestic Care in Southport. He has been buried in Cresthaven Memory Gardens alongside his parents, Robert and Shirley Kindred. Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes, 818 18th Street in Bedford, has been entrusted with Mark’s arrangements.
