Marcia Canada, age 81, of Bedford, IN, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025. Born October 8, 1943, she was the daughter of Erie & Knoxie (Hughes) Terrell.
Marcia married Olin D. Canada on January 8, 1972, and was a 1962 graduate of Oolitic High School. She was an antique dealer and shop owner, and worked at Cook Polymer Technology for 10 years. Marcia was a member of the Englewood Baptist Church.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Shelley Brewer and Kimberly Parsons; one brother, Gary (Nancy) Terrell; two sisters, Jeri (Ray) Gaines, and Sharon (Kenny) Ratliff; three grandchildren, Kara (Deandre) Gray, Amanda (Marcus) Purdy, and Austin (Michelle) Lee; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Marcia was preceded in death by her husband, Olin D. Canada; her parents, Erie & Knoxie (Hughes) Terrell; four sisters, Catherine Walls, Helen Deckard, Connie Murphy, and Rita Nicholson; and two brothers, Wilbert Terrell and Vernie Terrell.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, August 15th, 2025, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes, 818 18th St, Bedford, IN, 47421, with Pastor Stephen Carter officiating. Burial will immediately follow at the Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, August 15th, 2025, from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm, also at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel.
