Free Veterans Resource Fair coming to Bloomington on August 20

BLOOMINGTON – Veterans across Southern Indiana are invited to a comprehensive resource fair designed to connect them with vital services and support. The event, hosted by Heading Home of South Central Indiana in cooperation with Monroe County Veterans Affairs and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, will take place on Tuesday, August 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Monroe Convention Center, located at 302 South College Avenue in Bloomington.

This fair aims to serve veterans of all eras and backgrounds, offering access to resources covering a broad spectrum of needs, including healthcare, employment assistance, housing solutions, legal aid, educational opportunities, and various benefits.

A special focus will be placed on programs and resources specifically tailored for veterans experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of homelessness. Representatives from various branches of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, including the Veterans Health Administration and the Veterans Benefits Administration, are expected to be present, alongside numerous community partners.
