BEDFORD— Becky’s Place is calling on the Bedford community to take action and raise awareness about the growing crisis of homelessness, not across the country, but right here at home.

The event is open to everyone, including those currently experiencing homelessness, who are welcome to attend and connect with services and community support.
Participants are asked to prepare for inclement weather, as the event will go on rain or shine. Light refreshments, coffee, and restroom access will be provided overnight.
While there is no fee to attend, donations are strongly encouraged. There is a small credit card fee if paying online using the link. Becky’s Place is accepting both monetary gifts and physical donations such as first aid kits, hygiene items, warm clothing, socks, blankets, and non-perishable snacks — all of which will go directly to those in need.
Community members can also support the cause by:
- Forming fundraising teams with churches, schools, and local businesses
- Participating remotely by sleeping out at home and tagging @BeckysPlaceBedford on social media
- Helping Becky’s Place reach a $25,000 donation goal

About Becky’s Place:

The shelter provides housing, meals, life skills training, and case management with the goal of helping families rebuild and achieve long-term independence.
