Robert ‘Mark’ Kindred, 65, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Majestic Care in Southport, IN.
Born March 4, 1960, in Bedford, IN, he was the son of Bob and Shirley Kindred.
Mark loved his grandkids. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved collecting Hot Wheels. He was affectionately known as Lynyrd Skynyrd by his friends. He had attended Bedford-North Lawrence High School.
Surviving Mark is his son, Aaron Kindred of Bedford; sister, Melinda (Brad) Scott of Largo, FL; his grandchildren, Garrett, Jaylah, and Xander Kindred; his nieces, Shelby Henderson and Sydney Ash; along with several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Shirley Kindred; his brother, Mike Kindred, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins
A Celebration of Life will be held for Robert Mark Kindred in the Fellowship Hall of the Restoration Church of the Nazarene, 504 19th Street, Bedford, IN, on Saturday, August 9, 2025, beginning at 4:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to this time of fellowship and remembrance with his son, Aaron, and his sister, Melinda, and their families. He will be buried alongside his parents at Cresthaven Memory Gardens, Dixie Highway, Bedford, IN, in a private ceremony at a later date.
