Raymond D. Strauser, 88, of Springville, passed away at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Mitchell Manor.
Born February 10, 1937, in Greene Co., he was the son of Wilfred A. and Beulah M. (Turpin) Strauser. He married Rosella Hayes on September 13, 1958, and she passed away on March 14, 2022, preceding him in death. He was a farmer and a dump truck driver for Crulo Trucking and William Hanna Trucking, retiring in 2002. He attended the Oak Grove Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include a sister, Kathryn M. Wilson, of Owensburg; seven nephews and five nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a sister, Wilma Burcham; a brother, Eugene Strauser; two brothers-in-law, Jon Le Wilson and Martin Burcham; and a sister-in-law, Kathryn Strauser.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 25th, in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary, with Pastor Adam Strauser officiating. Burial will follow in the Owensburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until the hour of service on Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
