BEDFORD – The Lawrence County Community Foundation (LCCF) has awarded a Heltonville Heritage Grant to Pleasant Run Park for the replacement of fencing on its U8 baseball field. The grant aims to support the park’s growing baseball program, which currently serves 376 participating children.
The grant was funded by the Heltonville Community Heritage Fund, an endowment managed by LCCF dedicated to supporting ongoing community improvement initiatives in Heltonville.
Individuals interested in contributing to the enhancement of Heltonville’s quality of life can make a gift to the Heltonville Community Heritage Fund. Contributions can be made by mailing a check, payable to LCCF, to PO Box 1235, Bedford, IN 47421. Online gifts can also be made by visiting www.cfpartner.org; donors should specify that their gift is for the Heltonville Community Heritage Fund.
