Could you catch the 2025 Indiana Fish of the Year?

INDIANA – Hoosier anglers still have ample opportunity to reel in a prize-winning catch and compete for the prestigious 2025 Fish of the Year title. So far this year, 59 entries across 32 different species have been submitted, but several species, including brown trout, rainbow trout, saugeye, hybrid striped bass, and striped bass, have yet to be represented.

There’s plenty of time left to land a fish big enough to take the win, as all entries must be received electronically by December 15.

The competition encourages anglers to showcase their best catches, following in the footsteps of previous winners like Bryan Odom, who held the Fish of the Year title for a 30.5-inch brown trout.
