FRENCH LICK – The Indiana Democratic Party (IDP) has announced details for its 144th IDEA Convention, scheduled to take place at the historic French Lick Resort from August 14 to 17, 2025. This annual gathering is poised to be a pivotal weekend for Hoosier Democrats, offering a chance to “reconnect, recharge, and plan to elect more Democrats in 2026.”
Described as “more than a tradition,” the IDEA Convention is a key opportunity for party members and supporters to socialize, strategize, and unite against what the IDP refers to as “Republican extremism.” The weekend agenda is expected to include a variety of activities, from a golf outing to intensive training sessions, promising an “unforgettable IDEA weekend.”
