BEDFORD — The Bedford Police Department released its May 2025 activity report, detailing key enforcement actions and public safety responses throughout the city.

Officers removed several illegal substances from circulation, including:
- 3 grams of methamphetamine
- 2 grams of heroin/fentanyl
- 3 grams of marijuana
- 3 grams of other controlled substances
In addition to drug-related enforcement, the department made 6 OWI (Operating While Intoxicated) arrests and served 13 warrants over the course of the month.
Traffic enforcement efforts included 239 traffic stops, which resulted in 56 citations. The department also responded to 68 traffic accidents and recorded a total of 1,330 incident or case numbers.
