Janice M. Roll, 82, of Springville, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, June 16, 2025, at IU Health in Bedford. Janice was born in Bedford on October 5, 1942, to Charles and Dora (Reynolds) Sullivan. Janice married Murvan Roll on October 3, 1959, and he preceded her in death on May 30, 2010. Janice retired from the Bedford Medical Center as the Kitchen manager after 20 years, she attended the Friendly Bible Church, Janice loved spending time with her grandkids, making mudpies, loved to talk, scratch-offs, loved to play the piano, she enjoyed watching the squirrels, birds, and wildlife in the yard, looking at the sky, especially rainbows, she had a love of vehicles such as her pretty blue truck, she was a super woman grandma, the coolest blue jeans wearing partner in crime type of grandma.
Survivors include her children, Marvin (Linda) Roll, Wayne (Teresa) Roll, Susan Andis, and Glenn Scott (Lora) Roll, ten grandchildren, Daniel (Brittany) Roll, Sheila (Trapper) Terrell, Jennifer Roll, Savannah Roll, Tina (Vernon) Schultz, Rocky (Lienecke) Roll, Misty (Phil) O’Toole, Cheyene Starr, Mindy Jones, and Brayden Roll, 23 great grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren, one brother, Raymond Sullivan, and one sister, Kathy Henderson.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Murvan Roll, five brothers, Johnny Sullivan, Jimmy Sullivan, Charles Sullivan, Bobby Sullivan, and Wayne Sullivan, and one great-grandson, Hunter Star.
Funeral services will be on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 3:30 PM at Cresthaven Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in New Union Cemetery, visitation will be on Friday from 1:00 PM until service time at 3:30 PM at the funeral home, condolences may be made at www.cresthavenfh.com.
