INDIANAPOLIS – Bedford North Lawrence senior Braydon Patterson finished seventh in the high jump during the IHSAA boys track state championships at North Central on Friday.

Patterson, who matched the school record earlier this season, cleared 6-6. Warsaw’s Jordan Randall won the state title with a jump of 7-0.

BNL’s Frank Decker competed in the pole vault but failed to clear a height.

”I am very proud of these two seniors, finishing their track careers in the state finals,” BNL coach Brett Deckard said.

Lawrence North won the team title with 47 points while Bloomington North was second with 45.
