MHS Cheer to host “Journey Through the Jungle” summer clinic for young explorers

MITCHELL – The Mitchell High School (MHS) Cheerleaders are inviting young “explorers” from Pre-K through 5th grade to a three-day “Journey Through the Jungle” at their 2025 Summer Cheer Clinic.

The clinic promises themed dress-up days, opportunities to learn cheers and chants from the MHS Cheerleaders, a clinic tee, and a “Wild performance” on the final Saturday.

The clinic is open to children from any local area and will take place on June 26th, 27th, and 28th at Emerson Gymnasium. Registration can be completed by scanning the QR code provided on promotional materials or by following the link.

In addition to the cheer clinic, the MHS Cheerleaders have a busy June schedule with several community events planned to help reach their goals before the school year begins:

  • June 2nd: Dine with them at El Compadre from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • June 14th: Car Wash with MJHS Cheer’s Yardsale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • June 16th: Auntie Anne’s from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • June 28th: Concessions at the Marion Township Fire Department Open House from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
