Rickie Lee Turner, 63, Campbellsburg, passed away Friday, May 30, 2025, at his residence.
Born December 25, 1961, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Ralph and Anna Mae
(Treadway) Turner, Sr.
Rick worked in construction with Laborers’ Union Local 741 and had been a bouncer for several bars in the Mitchell area. Rick never met a stranger. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and his dogs; Precious, Patches, and Cookie.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Meredith of Campbellsburg; children, Amber Turner of Campbellsburg, Ginger (Justin) Tomlinson of Bedford, Rick Sims of Mitchell, and Kristen Turner of Bloomington; stepsons, Darrin (Ashley) Meredith of Campbellsburg and Denny (Jackie) Meredith of Campbellsburg; grandchildren, Rhiannon, Kaitlyn, Schyler, Easton, Holden, Walker, Isaiah, Lilly, and Nevaeh; great-grandsons, Jeremiah and Miles; six step-grandchildren; and sisters, Regina Tillette of Mitchell and Patricia Turner of Bedford. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His parents and brothers, Ralph Turner, Jr, and Allen Ray Turner, preceded him in death.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, at Lawrenceport Cemetery. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
