BEDFORD – The City of Bedford Utilities has issued a precautionary boil order effective today, May 29, 2025. This order affects several addresses on 23rd Street due to ongoing repairs to a water main.
The following addresses are under the boil order:
- 1501 23rd Street
- 1502 23rd Street
- 1503 23rd Street
- 1510 23rd Street
- 1512 23rd Street Units A & B
- 1515 23rd Street
- 1520 23rd Street Units A, B & C
- 1530 23rd Street
Residents in the affected areas are advised to bring all water to a vigorous boil for two minutes before use. After boiling, allow the water to cool before consumption. Alternatively, bottled water can be used.
Pre-boiled or bottled water should be used for all activities involving consumption or preparation, including drinking, brushing teeth, washing vegetables, washing dishes, making infant formula, all food preparation, and creating or using ice.
This precautionary boil order will remain in effect until further notice.
