Indiana DNR seeks volunteers for Adopt-A-Ramp Program

INDIANA– The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is inviting Indiana anglers, boaters, and paddlers to contribute to cleaner waterways and quality public access sites by joining the Adopt-A-Ramp volunteer program. This initiative offers a meaningful and flexible opportunity for individuals, families, and groups to give back to their community and environment.

Volunteers in the Adopt-A-Ramp program undertake various tasks essential for maintaining Indiana’s public access sites. These duties can include collecting trash and discarded fishing line, reporting maintenance needs, or addressing other site-specific issues. With over 400 public access sites across Indiana, there are numerous opportunities for volunteers to find a convenient location to make a positive impact.

Participants in the program commit for one year at a time, with the option to renew their commitment annually. Those interested in becoming an Adopt-A-Ramp volunteer can do so by visiting the DFW Volunteer webpage, creating a volunteer account, and signing up.
