MITCHELL – Get ready to race down memory lane! The 1st Annual Greater Indiana Slot Car Swap Meet is set to take place on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the Emerson Gym in Mitchell, Indiana.
This exciting event, sponsored by Main Street Racing, Mitchell Chamber of Commerce, and Lawrence County Tourism, promises a day of fun for slot car enthusiasts and collectors of all ages. Attendees will have the opportunity to buy, sell, and trade a wide variety of slot cars, model cars, and Hot Wheels.
The swap meet will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. Early bird admission is available from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. for $10, while general admission after 9:00 a.m. is $5. Best of all, kids 15 and under get in free.
For those looking to showcase their collection, tables are available for rent at $25 each, with pre-payment required. Vendors can also take advantage of early set-up on Saturday, May 31st, at Emerson Gym. For more information, please call 812-272-2184.
The event will feature 1:32 HO test tracks on-site, allowing attendees to try out their new acquisitions or classic favorites. Concessions will be available throughout the day.
