BLOOMINGTON – Get ready to hit the water at Griffy Lake! The Griffy Lake Boathouse has announced extended hours for the summer season, now open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. This expanded schedule offers more opportunities for residents and visitors to enjoy kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding on the scenic lake.
Whether you’re planning a leisurely paddle or an active excursion, Griffy Lake provides a perfect escape. Watercraft rentals are available for $10 per hour, and life vests are provided at no additional cost to ensure a safe experience for all.
To secure your preferred time, reservations for watercraft rentals can be made by calling 812-349-3732 or by emailing griffy.boathouse@bloomington.in.gov. Walk-up rentals are also welcome, subject to availability.
Please note that weekend watercraft rentals are limited to two hours to allow more patrons to enjoy the popular amenities during peak times.
