Lawrence Leroy Loy, 74 of Bedford, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at IU Hospice House in Bloomington.
He was born in Indianapolis on September 16, 1950, to Lawrence R. and Geraldine (Greene) Loy. Lawrence married Sarah “Sally” Wisehart, and she passed away in 2022.
Lawrence retired as a custodian from Indianapolis Public Schools.. He was also a truck driver for Celadon Trucking. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include three daughters, Tanya Dunn, Jennifer Loy-Flynn, and Elizabeth Loy, stepdaughter, Liz Shepperd, grandchildren, Aubrey Dunn, Tyana Moir, Aiden Flynn, Madigan Flynn, Kellan Flynn, and Vincent Loy-Flynn, step-grandchildren, Josh Dolan, Catalina Coy, Brianna Coy, and Alicia Graham, several great grandchildren.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers, Lawrence Raymond Loy and Lawrence Alan Loy, and one sister, Virginia Loy.
Cremation was chosen.
