BLOOMINGTON – A Monroe County man whose body was discovered inside a van in a residential neighborhood in March has been identified by Monroe County Coroner Jeff Hall.
According to a news release, the man was identified as 37-year-old Andrew Reed. Hall confirmed Reed’s identity through DNA analysis. Toxicology results indicated that his death was the result of an accidental drug overdose.
Reed had been reported missing on January 24, 2025. Reed’s body was discovered on March 20, 2025, in a van parked in the 2900 block of Pinewood Lane in Bloomington. A neighbor found the body while retrieving tools from the van.
