Hoosier Uplands to construct 32 affordable housing units for seniors in Bedford

BEDFORD – Hoosier Uplands has announced plans to construct 32 affordable housing units on Shawnee Drive in Bedford, with construction slated to begin this summer. The development, to be named Limestone Edge, will cater to individuals over 55, with a portion of the units designated explicitly for seniors experiencing homelessness.

The project will feature single-story duplexes with a mix of one- and two-bedroom layouts. CPM Construction of Indianapolis has been selected as the general contractor, and the anticipated completion date for the development is August 2026.
