SEYMOUR — Seymour Community Schools will be offering free summer meals for children at multiple locations throughout the community. The “SUNsational Meals” program will provide breakfast and lunch at select school sites during the summer months.
According to the announcement, meals will be served at Seymour Middle School from June 2 to July 25, with breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. At Margaret Brown Elementary, meals will be available from June 2 to June 20, with breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Seymour High School will offer meals from June 2 to June 27, with breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
All meal sites will be closed on Friday, July 4th.
In addition to providing meals, the program will also feature “Summer On-The-Go” activities, including coloring contests, gardening, giveaways, an ice cream social, and other events.
