SEYMOUR – Seymour edged Bedford North Lawrence 168-173 during boys high school golf action on the back nine at Shadowood on Monday.
Zarik Black, Kirby Tormoehlen and Jack Broughton all posted 41s for the Owls.
Evan Tillett paced BNL with 42, while Tyler Bellush and Drew McKee carded 43s.
“We got off to a pretty good start but just couldn’t sustain it,” BNL coach Trey Turner said. “We’ve got some time off to practice this week before the conference, which is much needed. We really need to take advantage of this practice time and gain some confidence back.”
The Stars will compete in the Hoosier Hills Conference tournament at Jeffersonville on May 27.
