WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Erin Houchin (IN-09) is proud to announce the 2025 Congressional Art Competition winners for Indiana’s 9th District. Dozens of outstanding submissions were received from high school students across the district.
Winners:

First Place & People’s Choice: “Grapefruit” by Jordan Bailey, Scottsburg High School

Second Place: “City of the Mind” by Devin Fox, East Central High School

Third Place: “Frenzied French Horn” by Zoey Parr, East Central High School
“Congratulations to these talented students—and thank you to everyone who submitted artwork,” said Congresswoman Houchin. “I’m proud to see so much creativity and passion from young artists across Indiana’s 9th District.”
As the first-place winner, Jordan Bailey’s artwork “Grapefruit” will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year alongside winning entries from congressional districts nationwide. Bailey will also receive a trip to Washington, D.C. for a national reception honoring all winners.
The Congressional Art Competition is an annual event sponsored by the U.S. House of Representatives to recognize and encourage artistic talent in each congressional district.
