Little Theatre of Bedford to present gripping production of Sweeney Todd, audition June 24, 25

BEDFORD— A chilling tale of vengeance, deception, and dark humor is set to take the stage this fall as the Little Theatre of Bedford presents Sweeney Todd, running September 25 through October 5.

Set in Victorian London, Sweeney Todd follows the harrowing journey of a wrongfully imprisoned barber who returns home seeking retribution against those who ruined his life. As his path twists into bloodshed and betrayal, Todd’s story unfolds in a thrilling musical marked by haunting melodies and macabre wit.

Auditions for the production will be held June 24 and 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Little Theatre. Callbacks, if needed, are scheduled for June 29 at 4 p.m.

The production is open to performers aged 15 and up due to the show’s intense and graphic content.
