INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Office of Technology, the Indiana Department of Revenue, the Indiana Department of Transportation, the Indiana Department of Health, and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation have earned spots on The Indianapolis Star’s 2025 Top Workplaces list, a distinction awarded to employers based entirely on employee feedback.

This year’s Top Workplaces Award marks the Indiana Department of Revenue’s seventh consecutive win in the 400-plus employee category, reflecting a long-standing commitment to employee engagement, professional development, and a collaborative, public-service mentality.
The Indiana Office of Technology was also honored among organizations with 400-plus employees for its collaborative, innovation-focused culture. This is IOT’s second consecutive year winning a Top Workplaces Award.
The Indiana Department of Transportation, also included in the 400-plus category, received the Spring Culture Excellence Award, recognizing its agency-wide focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
This will mark the Indiana Department of Health’s first Top Workplaces win. IDOH won the USA Today Top Workplaces award, the IndyStar Top Workplaces award, and a Top Workplaces award for Work/Life Flexibility.
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation secured its third straight Top Workplaces honor, underscoring a commitment to empowering staff to attract investments and create jobs in Indiana.

“Indiana’s public servants prove every day that government can be both efficient and an exceptional place to build a career,” said Governor Braun. “These honors show what happens when we prioritize people, empower innovation, and keep our mission focused on serving Hoosiers.”
