GALENA – Bedford North Lawrence won the Hoosier Hills Conference title during Unified track action on Friday.
The Stars claimed the crown with 128 points, followed by Floyd Central (97) and Seymour (93) in the six-team field.
BNL athletes that earned All-HHC honors included Trace Walters (shot put), Sam Barley (shot put), Patric Matson (long jump), Katie Sites (100), Jaxon Donnell (100), Carson Puckett (400), plus the boys 400 relay (Walters, Matson, Josh Morales and Donnell) and girls 400 relay (Tori Logsdon, Ellie Matheny, Alex Nubbie and Sophie Jackson).
”The kids have waited a long time to compete, but they came out strong,” BNL coach Mike Branam said. “Everyone came out positive, and nearly everyone hit their seed or better. I can’t ask for more.”
BNL will celebrate its Senior Night on Wednesday, hosting Edgewood.
