BLOOMINGTON – Bedford North Lawrence finished fourth in the 15-team Bloomington North Invitational at Cascades during boys high school golf action on Saturday.
The Stars carded a team total of 329. Center Grove won the title with 302, followed by Carmel (318) and New Albany (323).
“We played well,” BNL coach Trey Turner said. “The greens were running really quick this morning, and got even faster when they dried out. It took some adjusting to the speed of the greens, but I thought we hit the ball pretty well.”
Hudson Martin paced BNL with a solid round of 77. Coleson Stiles and Drew McKee posted 82s.
”Hudson played excellent,” Turner said. “He only hit six greens and was getting up and down from everywhere. It was another good opportunity to get a competitive round in on the sectional course.”
New Albany’s Rossi Hamilton was the medalist with a 2-under 70.
BNL will visit New Albany on Tuesday.
