Ronnie Goen, 50, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN. Born on October 29, 1974, he was the son of Richard and Karen (Turner) Goen.
Ronnie graduated from the Bedford North Lawrence High School class of 1993, and he attended Indiana University. He loved music and was a drum major in high school. Ronnie was a member of the IU drum and bugle corps, and he loved to spend time with family and watch the drum and bugle corps. Ronnie was a furniture rep, and he attended the Sherwood Oaks Christian Church in Bloomington, IN.
Surviving to cherish the memory of Ronnie are his parents, Richard and Karen (Turner) Goen; sister, Michelle Compton; aunt, Marsha (John) Gardner; uncle, Kenneth Turner; cousins, Brandi (Marshall) Waters, Brian (Megan) Randolph, Freya, Crosby, Zachary, Zoe, and Zane.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Maynard and Juanita Turner, and one uncle, Rickie Lee.
Funeral services for Ronnie will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Ferguson- Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford with Pastor Jeff Hudelson officiating. Burial will follow at Clover Hill. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm, also at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel.
