This summer marks the 15th anniversary of the Ivy Arts for Kids program, which provides youth arts education through immersive two-week camps for rising 1st—to 5th-graders. The Program, which includes ceramics, painting, crafting, and mixed media, is held at the Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington campus.
Ivy Tech Bloomington also offers the College for Kids program for rising 6th—12th graders. These one-week camps include topics like fine arts and STEM.
In downtown Bedford at the StoneGate Arts & Education Center, families can choose from one-week camps in performing and visual arts, music, sculpting, printmaking, painting, and other themed camps for rising 3rd-8th graders.
The Center for Lifelong Learning partners with Constellation Stage & Screen to offer film, theater, and musical camps for rising 1st- 12th graders. Youth and teens will work with professional instructors, and camps will be held at downtown Bloomington’s studios and stages.
Camps are offered in June and July, and a limited number of scholarships are available for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch through the National School Lunch Program.
